Quietfire Design  came out with 2 brand new calligraphic rubber stamps, they're beautiful. This card uses one of the quotes.

I had made a recent card with Tim Holtz Sizzix Movers & Shapers Die "Ornamental" and I kept the negative portion, knowing I'd want to use it too. I was right. It was cut from chip board. You can use the Spellbinder's Labels 8 die set (gluing a couple layers of cardstock together) and get a similar result. I then cut a piece of parchment cardstock with the same die and ran it through my Cuttlebug with the "Victoria" embossing Folder #37-1916.

I rubber stamped the Fiddleheads a couple times on white cardstock and embossed with an Emerald Green & Green patina. Cut them out and sandwiched them between the chipboard frame and the parchment frame. Used gold Krylon on the outside edges of the frame.

Used a piece of a faux batik background I had made a while back and rubber stamped the quote using Versafine Black Onyx and clear embossing it. Positioned the quote on the back of the frame, then glued it down. Adhered some thicker mulberry paper on the back to cover the unsightliness of the other layers. then mounted the frame to a dark green easel card.

Rubber stamped the fiddleheads again, directly on the card, in the area where I would need a stopper for the easel. I cut out the fiddleheads with an x-acto knife, scored it at it's base and flipped it up in front of the easel. I put a piece of cardstock on the bottom of the card to camouflage the hole.

Rubber stamped the words "Creative Journeys" and gold embossed it.
