Thought I'd do an Asian card for a change.

PS it was inspired by the layout on a card made by Louise Kovar who teaches Asian flare type cards at Paper Pastimes.

Found this nice cutwork image, I believe through Dover Sampler, and cut it out with my Cricut, attached it to some Asian crane design paper, then cut around the design. Adhered some greenish mulberry paper to thin cardstock, and adhered my crane paper to that. Adhered a piece of bluish mulberry paper to some thin cardstock.

Folded a thicker white cardstock in the height, adhered a piece of heavy textured white mulberry paper, then adhering both colored pieces to the card at a slight tilt.

Found a Haiku on line that worked with my image, printed it out on some pink toned Vellum using Wonton Font. Adhered it to my card with a few dots of Glossy Accents. Then added the 3 Mizuhiki cords also with Glossy Accents.
