I recently got this large Dreamweaver brass stencil of a spider's web and wanted to do something with it. I also wanted to do something with a new rubber stamp I received from Quietfire Design "Find yourself a cup of tea", so I combined both into this card. I like the results. So often when someone comes to my home, at least (maybe yours too), and we say don't mind the dust... Well I thought I'd say "don't mind the spider webs" big grin.

I used the translucent Dreamweaver paste on matte black cardstock and sprinkled some Glitter Ritz Micro Fine glitter "Warm Nuance" while the paste was wet. Left it to dry thoroughly. Put some double sided tape on the back and started cutting out some of the spaces between the web around the outer edge. Adhered it to the top portion of my card which was the same black cardstock. I wanted to have a bit of dept to the spider web. Extended some of the lines with a Sakura Black Metallic gel pen. Also added a bit of Angelina fibres in the center of the web to give that wispy, spidery look.

Rubber stamped the quote with a silver pigment stamp pad and embossed with silver detail embossing powder. Added my words under it with a silver gel pen.
