I saw some cards on Better Homes & Garden - Easy Handmade Cards, and this is a similar one of another one I really liked. It used pieces of ribbon, and looked like it was a top folded card with the word "thanks" running along the top edge. I don't use much ribbon so I improvised. Again I used my Cricut to cut out the letters in various sizes from various True Fonts.

I  had gotten the black gold printed cut off end papers from Select Imports, not knowing what I would do with them, but they spoke to me. They're thin type of Thai paper which I adhered to black cardstock to give more weight to them. I then adhered them to the front of my red card base leaving a miniscule crack between the strips to see the red card showing through. I then cut off the triangular pieces to create faux ribbon points and of course the inside of the card is now visible. (next time I'll move the images a bit so they don't get cut off at the points.

I added the vertical strip of another reddish Thai paper I had left over from some books I recently made. Added a piece of black leatherette paper and then adhered the letters butting up to the black edge. I added some gold Stickles dots.
