I had bought this Amaco Art Emboss - Bright Gold - Extra Light Wt. 125 sheet package several years ago and used a couple sheets, then put it aside. I was doing some embossing with my Cuttlebug on metal recently, and thought about putting the light weight on cardstock to get the same thickness at a lot less cost. BIG GRIN. It worked.

For several of the designs I ran a damp piece of felt with Blender Solution, randomly over the design removing some of the gold color. Leaves a golden silvery color. Some I added a bit of alcohol inks to the blended solution treatment.

I stamped the sentiment (all from Quietfire Design) onto white cardstock, trimmed it to a label size, distressed the edges with Distress Stamp pads and a sponging tool (Pine Needles, Fired Brick & Walnut Stain) added some slots for my ribbon and attached it to the card, wrapping around the embossed design, then layering it to the main white or cream toned card. Simple, but very effective. Looks really elegant. (20 down only 20+ more to go... BGI GRIN)

This sentiment was wider than I wanted for a side fold card, so is the only one that have some top fold cards in the batch.

I used both the positive and negative side of this folder. I liked the debossed holes to add color using a Ranger's white Inkssentials pen.
