The alcohol inks on the background were applied a little differently than usual. I put onto a melt art mat (craft sheet) some Gold Mixative, just a nice line of it, then added some Butterscotch, Watermelon and Citrus onto the gold line, then added some Blending Solution. Smooshed a piece of glossy white paper around in it and lifted. Didn't totally like the results so with a  bit of blender solution on my felt tool pounced it around a bit. Still didn't like the results, so with the tip of my blending solutions bottle touching the paper, dropped a drop of solution here and there. Let dry and did it again, let dry etc. Did this a few times. Now it was OK. I liked the swirl color movement from the lifting off the melt art mat in combination with the drops.

So ran the background and a piece of bright yellow cardstock through my Cuttlebug with the Long Classic Scalloped Rectangle Nestabilities dies. Rubber stamped the Chinese lanterns ( Inkadinkado "Asian by Design" set #98626) and the quote (Quietfire Design) using Versafine black and clear embossed.

Cut a piece of a salmon/pink toned Bazzill Monochromatic cardstock and used Martha Stewart "Scallop Dot" border punch along one edge.

With a wet paintbrush pulled apart a yellow highly textured mulberry paper for the left side of the card.

So I have a cream toned main card. Adhered a piece of the alcohol background to the right edge, adhered the salmon toned cardstock just a little in from the right edge so the background shows through, then the yellow mulberry on the left side, then the bright yellow and background stamped piece.

Rubber stamped the Asian symbol for "Courage" (Sunday International "Kanji" #EWKFS01B set) onto some of the background paper with Versafine black, clear embossed, and hand drew a larger version of one of the lanterns with an Indenti black pen and cut it out. Added some minor details with a black Zig marker.
