This is one of my submissions for the Vamp Stamp Magazine for the November 2011 issue with the theme of "Food".

I love the Spellbinders dies of Pears & Apples, so had to use them.

I die cut various sizes of the fruit from white cardstock, sponged Distress colors (Scattered Straw, Fired Brick, Aged Mahogany, Peeled Paint, Shabby Shutters, Vintage Photo), applying the Straw on each especially in the lighter areas. Then applying the various colors for each fruit.

Keeping the die in place stamped the word stamps & Speckled stamp (A Stamp In The Hand "Word Pears" #N1766; Just Jhones "Pieces & Parts" set; All Night Media "speckled") with Versafine Black Onyx or Vintage Sepia on the largest pear.

Cut a piece of white cardstock slightly smaller than my card front, embossed it with (Cuttlebug "Celebrate with Flourish") using a hard rubber mallet, turning the folder around and hammering the design until the two design edges joined. Sponged the Straw around the edges, followed with Worn Lipstick, then the Vintage Photo. Stamped the quote with the Versafine Sepia. Adhered my fruit in a pleasing arrangement, then on to my deep red card.
