This is one of my submissions for the Vamp Stamp Magazine for the March 2011 issue with the theme of "Alcohol Markers" and is on the March back cover.

I prefer using watercolor markers rather than alcohol markers, but hey!! c'est la vie.

This card was colored with Copics.

I rubber stamped the Italic Cap letters (Quietfire Design "Italic Cap Alphabet set) to spell "WISH" on a white glossy paper I believe called Luna. Then drew in my break lines for the design with a Zig Marker, then colored within the lines, then doodled. I cut off a piece to make it narrower, then decided not to waste that piece.

I stamped the words "Make a" (Faerie Song #FS-1MAW) with Versafine Black Onyx and clear embossed it, then colored around it with the greenish Copic, added some micro fine Glitter Ritz "Stardust" and colored the inside of the "M: with a pale yellow.

I colored a scrap piece of the glossy paper with the greenish copic, then just colored diagonal lines. Placed my Cuttlebug Cut Emboss Birthday Wishes die #37-1162 in an appropriate area and cut out the candle. Added some gold and red micro fine Glitter Ritz in the flame area.

The main white card was run through my Big Shot with the Cuttlebug Happy Birthday folder, then the strips adhered with a small space between. The candle was woven between the strips.

As a final touch I added clear rhinestone flowers and stars and then 3 red rhinestone hearts.
