This is my submission to Vamp Stamp Magazine for the April 2011 issue with the theme of "Birds of a Feather".

This is such a simple card, but I really like the results. Love the bird stamp by Local King Rubber "Birds of a Feather" ironic it's what the theme is.

The words "best friends forever" is by (Quietfire Design and the quote is by Flourishes "Gerber Daisies" set #074

I don't know if I've ever had this short a description before, but as I said, a very simple card.

I stamped the upper portion (about 3/4 of the stamp) of the bird stamp onto the scrapbook paper (Provo Craft Pathways "Illumination" pad with Versafine Black Onyx. Wish they still made this paper, it's one of  my favorites. Then stamped the "best friends" then stamped the other portion of the bird stamp, then the quote. Trimmed the paper down to size.

Punched out the border with Martha Stewart Punch Around the Page "Swirling Lace", adhered my bird piece very close to the punched edge, then trimmed the other sides. Adhered it to my main side folded card.

Punched out the birds with Martha's "Bird on Wire" edger from some decorative scrap paper. Extended the wire lines with a Zig Writer.
