This is my submission for the Vamp Stamp Magazine for the February 2010 issue with the theme of "Valentine".

I folded my cream toned card with a gate fold and when the card is flat, the 2 hearts nest within each others curves.

I cut the hearts from heavy textured reddish leatherette paper using my Sizzix "Tipsy Heart" die set, both the medium heart and the smallest heart (for the inside). Also edged the front hearts with a Quickie Glue pen and sprinkled Ritz Glitter "Gold" micro fine glitter.

Layered some pearlized cream toned paper on each side with a border of the main card showing. Then layered heavy textured white Mulberry paper, leaving a border as well but edge right up to the center line. Adhered my hearts.

Tied a bow with my gold mesh type ribbon and adhered it to a piece of cream toned cardstock with double sided tape. Made a slot on the left side, right at the edge of the Mulberry section to insert my ribbon cardstock to keep the card closed.

Cut a cream toned circle using my EK Succes Orbis Circle Scissors and rubber stamped the words "when 2 hearts join" using an alphabet set (MSE "Girlfriends #TT210") with Versafine Crimson Red stamp pad. Sponged some Distress "Worn Lipstick" and "Aged Mohogany" around the edges on the front and back. From the same stamp set I rubber stamped the hearts. Attached it to the card with Junkitz Ringz

On the inside I added a piece of natural toned Parchement stationary, sponged more color around the edges and stamped the Flourish Heart and the Quote (Quietfire Design) with the Crimson Red stamp pad. Added the small die cut hearts.
