The BVCG makes Xmas cards for seniors are our December Xmas potlucks. Since we are still in Covid lockdown we are making them at home.

I worked all day yesterday and created 11 cards... finished the 12th one today. I wanted an even dozen BIG GRIN. I organized myself 1st. Pulled out a bunch of Tim's Xmas themed dies and various brands of Xmas themed embossing folders. Did a bunch of die cutting and was now ready to start creating...

Highlighted the front words with a .o3 Micron pen.

On the inside adhered another bell.

ID: "Seniors - Twinkle and Sparkle" card

Since I'm cutting my cards from and 8.5 x 1" cardstock, I'm ending up with a wasted 3" x 8" scrap piece. So I spliced 2 of them together with a co-ordinating colored cardstock. In this case a dark blue.

Created some salt resist decorated paper using Arches Text Wove, Daniel Smith watercolors "Ultramarine Blue" and Sifto coarse salt and regular table salt.

Applied glue to the snowflakes and sprinkled with glitter.

Wrote the words with Bleed Proof white ink and a B-4 nib

On the inside adhered another snowflake and wrote out the words with Holbien gouache "Prussian Blue" and Schminke gold powder.

ID: "Seniors - Holly Jolly" card

Used a Molotw pen filled with Pebeo masking fluid and wrote out the words "Holly Jolly". When dry painted with a yellow, and red diluted Daniel Smith watercolor.  Added the rest of the words and dots with a red Zig Writer. Adhered to my white card base. Added red glitter to the dot over the "i". Shadowed with graphite and paper stump.

On the inside printed out the words with the Zig Writer.

ID: "Seniors - Holly & Ivy" card

Heat embossed the holly leaves, branch and berries with various Distress embossing powders giving a nice textural effect. Added glossy accents on the berries. Wrote out the words on the inside and outside with a 3.8 parallel pen and Holbien gouache (Olive green and Prussian blue) and Schminke gold powder in a stretched style of lettering. Shadowed with a micron pen.

ID: "Seniors - Let It Snow" card

Created some salt resist decorated paper using Arches Text Wove, Daniel Smith watercolors "Cobalt Blue", "Manganese Blue Hue" and "Natural Sleepig Beauty Turquoise Genuine" and Sifto coarse salt and regular table salt. When dry, trimmed down and adhered to card front.

Adhered the glittered snowflake border

Wrote the words with a Holbien gouache "Prussian Blue" and Schminke gold powder using both a pointed pen nib and 6.0 parallel pen in a stretched lettering style.

ID: "Seniors - Houses - From My Home" card

This is another spliced scraps to make a whole card.
