I'll be teaching this structure soon again and thought I'd better refresh my memory BIG GRIN... If you live in the Calgary area check my "Workshop News" on my blog for class info.

I'm using a couple dies  "Autumn" and `Joy from Elizabeth Craft Designs, also available on Quietfire Design.

I'm also using a bunch of rubber quote stamps from Quietfire Design

("I Dwell In Possibilities"); ("How Lovely Is The Silence..."); ("Always Believe That Something..."); ("Autumn Is A Second Spring")

Cut, scored and folded my my 3 colors of cardstock (Recollections "Jewel" cardstock pack). I used the dark green, burgundy red and the yellow. I prefer to do the star with 5 panels rather than the 7. You get to see more of the interior pages when open.

Adhered the green and red layers and left the yellow inserts free to do my stamping and decorating etc.

Die cut the yellow using Elizabeth Craft Designs "Postage Stamp Rectangles" die set. Adhered to front.

Die cut the "Autumn Joy" from red cardstock, inked with Versafine and embossed with UTEE. Adhered to front.

Created a decorative cardstock using Distress Oxide pads ("Scattered Straw", "Barn Door", "Marigold", and "Mowed Lawn"), then die cut the leaves (Impression Obsession #030S and Cheery Lynn Designs). Adhered a couple to the front.

On the back:

Adhered another postage rectangle and a couple leaves.

Die cut a smaller postage stamp rectangle from the yellow to hold my little card insert for the message. Decider to dress it up a bit and I had a negative of the die cut in red, so added that and a leaf and logo.

Page 1:

Stamped the quote using Versafine Clair "Tulip Red" and embossed with Emerald Creek Boho Blends "Paprika" embossing powder.

Adhered a couple leaves.

Wrote my text on a piece of paper, scanned and printed it out the size I needed for this card. Transferred the text to my yellow cardstock and then over wrote with a red Zig Writer.

The text is a take on Carole King's lyrics.

Added more leaves.
