Created: September 30, 2018 Suzanne came out with a bunch of new A Way With Word dies and I choose the Ho Ho Ho mini to play with this time BIG GRIN. I'm using an A Way With Words dies "4 Seasons - Winter" 4pce set, "Flourished Christmas Minis" 3pce set and "Let It Snow" 2pce set from Elizabeth Craft Designs, also available on Quietfire Design HERE, HERE and HERE Also using one of the newest Xmas quote and design element stamp sets from Suzanne available on Quietfire Design "To Appreciate the Beauty of a Snowflake..." 3pce set

Side folded my white
cardstock. Cut an opening with some hand cut icicle shapes and
backed it with a dark blue cardstock.
Cut the textured layer from a Coral Reef cardstock which has this really heavy texture that I love. Adhered to card front. Die cut the words from various blue cardstocks (actually I raided my die cut stash...hence the 2 blue shades). Die cut the mittens and colored with Distress "Tumbled Glass" and for the top of the mitten inked with Distress Picket Fence and embossed with Emerald Creek "Soft Fallen Snow" embossing powder - another great textural effect. Adhered all the die cuts. The snowflakes (Elizabeth Craft Designs "Snowflakes") were also from my stash, die cut from white cardstock and an iridescent glitter applied. Applied Viva "Holo Iridescent" glitter to the icicles. |

On the inside: stamped the quote and flourishes using Versafine Onyx Black and clear embossed. Stamped the snowflake detail using the Picket Fence and embossing with Emerald Creek "Iridescent Shimmer" embossing powder. Sponged some of the Tumbled Glass around the area. |
