As I mentioned in my previous post, I've been itching to do some watercolor painting... and decided for my 2nd card to paint roses... 

I'm using an A Way With Words dies  "Amazing/Beautiful" 2pce set  from Elizabeth Craft Designs, also available on Quietfire Design HERE

I'm also using a quote and sentiment stamp from Quietfire Design 

("A Rustle In The Wind" 4pce set); ("Happy Birthday/Let Them Eat Cupcakes" 4pce set)

Also using an electronic Font cut file from Suzanne available on Silhouette. PS it works as a regular print font for emails and in Word etc. Click image to purchase.

When dry, misted the back and dry embossed the background (Crafter's Companion "French Lace". Hit the high points lightly with "Fossilized Amber". Adhered the yellow ribbon and tied a bow. 

Die cut the "Amazing" from a DoCraft gold mirror cardstock.

As mentioned before, cut several of the "You Are Special" in various sizes using Suzanne Chalkline Funk font and cut with my Silhouette machine. Inked with the amber distress pad and embossed with yellow embossing powder. It created a mottled effect which I liked...

Created my easel by scoring and folding a light yellow Bazzill Monochromatic cardstock. Cut another piece the same size as card and adhered to card, then adhered my watercolor piece. Adhered my words.

On the floor: stamped the quote and sentiment using the black and clear embossing on white cardstock.

I had some die cuts in my stash (Creative Expressions "Frames & Tags - Summer Rose") cut from white cardstock. Inked one of them with the appropriate colors and cut them apart as needed. Adhered them to my quote piece and then fussy cut around everything. Adhered to floor with 3D foam tape to act as my stopper.
