I needed to make a couple calligraphed cards to submit for our Guild's next journal... So I pulled out my hand carved Cactus stamps and some quilled flowers I made a while back...

I'm using an A Way With Words dies  "Always"  2pce set from Elizabeth Craft Designs, also available on Quietfire Design HERE

I'm also using a quote  stamp from Quietfire Design as well as a clear 8pce Birthday Collection stamp set also available on Elizabeth Craft Designs HERE

Scored and folded my Classic Linen Gold Pearl cardstock (Paper-Gardens.ca)

Stamped the various cactus elements using Distress Oxide pads on a piece of the gold pearl cardstock. Dried. 

Did the calligraphy using a Zig marker - both the fine tip and the bullet tip and doing a monoline hand. I used the exemplar from Suzanne Cannon for her new font "Chalkline Funk" - love that style.

Adhered my quilled elements. The flowers also have Prills as their centers. Trimmed down and adhered to a sage tone cardstock and then onto the card front. Adhered a piece of 2tone green ribbon.

On the inside: Stamped the quote and sentiments using Distress pads in a two toned effect, and clear embossed.

Die cut the "Always from a scrap of cardstock, inked with a green pad and embossed with pearlescent embossing powder.

Die cut the rope border pieces (Elizabeth Craft Designs "Ropes 1" set from cream toned cardstock and inked with various browns. Adhered to inside.
