One of the challenges this week was circles... What's an oval but a squished circle - right??

Yesterday I spent most of the day creating flowers... Drew the shapes for Pansies, Jasmine, Dogwood & Cosmos, then proceeded to cut them with my electronic cutter and then scored, colored and shaped them. It was a happy play day... And today I was in a mood to do something fairy like...

I'm using an A Way With Words die  "Magic" from Elizabeth Craft Designs, also available on Quietfire Design HERE

I'm also using a couple quote stamps from Quietfire Design.

("A Rustle In The Wind" 4 pce set)

Scored and folded my white cardstock and die cut with Spellbinder's Grand Ovals die set, then scored to create the easel. Cut another oval same size as front.

Direct to paper with Distress Oxides (Broken China, Salty Ocean and Faded Jeans), then sponged to blend. Added Peeled Paint and Lucky clover on the bottom half and sponged to blend. Adhered to front.

Stamped the quote using Versafine Black Onyx ad clear embossed.

I had bought 4 Lavinia stamps recently and created electronic cut files for them, cutting a coloring a few for my stash... So pulled one of the "Fairy Bridge" out and adhered to card front.

Adhered a bunch of the pansies I made. As mentioned electronically cut the shapes, scored veins on the backside with a very thin stylus, hit the high points with whatever color I was using for the flower and sponged more color both on the front and backside. Shaped with a large balled stylus on a foam pad, glued the flower together and then added glue in the center and a bright yellow bunch of Prills. Set aside to dry.

It needed some leaves, so colored another piece of cardstock with the greens, adding Iced Spruce, misted with water and dried. Die cut with Elizabeth Craft Designs "Strawberry" die set. Hit the leaves direct to paper with a Distress pad "Peeled Paint" and cut away the smaller leaves for my card.

Raided my stash for the die cut "Magic " word cut from a light lavender Bazill cardstock.

On the floor: Cut another oval shape and embossed with Cuttlebug "Happy Birthday" embossing folder. Hit the high points with a couple shades of Distress greens. Adhered to floor.

Stamped the quote with the black and clear embossed on white cardstock. Die cut with Elizabeth Craft Designs "Stitched Ovals" die set and sponged around edges with some blue. Adhered to floor with 3D foam tape to act as my stopper.

Had the Lavinia fairy ("Fairy Dust Silhouette") in my stash as previously mentioned and adhered to floor.
