ID: MC Jan/18 - Easel Dogwood - ECD Cherish, Dream, Live - HB card
size: 7"w x 5"H (easel closed

Created: January 28, 2018

As I mentioned recently I spent a day creating flowers... Drew the shapes for Pansies, Jasmine, Dogwood & Cosmos, then proceeded to cut them with my electronic cutter and then scored, colored and shaped them. It was a happy play day... And I'm using the Dogwood blooms... I love Dogwood, they are such a pretty flower...

I'm using an A Way With Words dies  "Cherish", "Dream", and "Live" from Elizabeth Craft Designs, also available on Quietfire Design  HERE, HERE, and  HERE

I'm also using single words from various quote stamps from Quietfire Design

(yesterday "Don't Let Yesterday..."); (Tomorrow "Courage Doesn't Always..." 2pce companion set); and (Today "Light Tomorrow with...")

Scored and folded my Olive toned cardstock to create the easel. Cut another piece, same size as card and adhered to front.

Raided my stash and found these Sea Glass backgrounds (Elizabeth Craft Designs). I had inked the embossing folder with various Distress colors, ran through my machine and clear embossed. Trimmed down and adhered to a pink toned cardstock then onto the card front.

Decorated some cardstock with various Distress greens and die cut with Sizzix "Garden Greens' die. Adhered them to front and tooled some for later. Adhered the dogwood blooms. I had added Prills to the centers, hand colored with two tones of green alcohol inks... Adhered the tooled leaves.

Die cut the various words from the pink toned cardstock.

Masked and stamped the various words on white cardstock using Versafine Black Onyx and clear embossed.

Die cut the tag backgrounds (Creative Expressions "Industrial Chic" die set) from white cardstock, sponged with a pink sponge and hit it all over direct to paper with "Victorian Velvet". Cut the ends off and re-glued together to make a smaller tag, then adhered to card.

On the floor: Adhered my die cuts and stamped/tagged words to another piece of the Sea Glass background. Adhered to floor with 3D foam tape to act as my stopper.

Stamped the Happy Birthday using the black on white cardstock, scored and die cut with an oval die set (Nellie's MFD007 die set). Adhered to floor and adhered pink rhinestones.
