Becca Feecan came out with some really nice Spellbinder's die sets to create 3D Vignettes. Sorry Becca I don't have any of those dies yet...

And I just received a bunch of goodies from Ecstasy Crafts and in there was a Sue Wilson die "Frames and Tags - Poppy" die set. I thought it would be perfect to create my own 3D card using the same principles as Becca's.

PS I can't believe I made a completely white card... I don't think I've ever done that before...

I'm using an A Way With Words dies  "Happy Birthday Small" from Elizabeth Craft Designs, also available on Quietfire Design HERE

I'm also using an older quote stamp from Quietfire Design which I love...

("The Origin Of Love...")

Cut 4 layers from white cardstock using the main die and inner circle die from cardstock larger than needed. Took 3 of the die cuts, stacking them and taping them together so they wouldn't move when I trimmed them down and added the little tabs. Untapped them. Used one of these trimmed pieces to cut my front piece - minus the tabs.

Die cut one more piece - minus the oval die from the white cardstock and trimmed down to match the from piece.

I cut my 2 vertical side pieces at one time so they would be exactly the same... the height of the card by 1.5"w. This gave me a 1/4 on either side to attach to my front and back pieces. And 3 slots at 1/4 apart. Scored and burnished the folds.

I cut little off cuts of my tabs as well as a small slot so the tabs don't fall out.

You can watch Becca's assembly video HERE

Stamped the quote onto one of my drop out ovals using Versafine Black Onyx and clear embossed. Hit the edges with a Versamark pad and embossed with Emerald Creek "Iridescent Shimmer" embossing powder. Adhered to card back.

Die cut the "Happy Birthday from white cardstock, inked with the Versamark and embossed with Emerald Creek "Glacier White" embossing powder twice. Adhered to front.

I had a bunch of white coils already made, so created flowers with them. Adding a big glob of white glue to the center and sprinkling with mini white Prills. When dry, adhered to card front and back.

Adhered some white pearl flourishes and a large white rhinestone heart.
