Tim is coming out with a new version of the birch Trees, one without the border... So I asked myself, do I really need that die... and as it turns out with this card - no I don't... but that's not saying I won't end up buying it anyway. ROFL.

I'm using an A Way With Words dies  "Best Wishes" 2pce set and "Flourished Circle - Love, Joy, Peace" 4pce set from Elizabeth Craft Designs, also available on Quietfire Design HERE  HERE

And I'm using a quote stamp from Quietfire Design

("Give Us Peace...")

Die cut the Birch trees twice from white cardstock and cut off the borders. Used some brown and black mini Distress pads direct to paper to give it birch coloring... Spliced the two die cuts together then traced them on m blue background. Used a black Zig marker to color wherever there were holes or cutouts. Adhered the birch tree cut out to card front.

Electronically cut the deer from white cardstock, colored with distress sponges and adhered between the trees.

Stamped the little bird (Penny Black) and fussy cut around it. Adhered to front.

On the floor: Adhered a piece of Coral Reef white texture paper - looks like snow covered ground...

Die cut the circle ornament from white cardstock, inked with Versafine Majestic Blue and embossed with Emerald Creek "Midnight Sky" embossing powder. PS I'm using the ornament upside down BIG GRIN...

Stamped the sentiment on white cardstock using Versafine Black Onyx and clear embossed. Die cut and adhered the drop out to the blue embossed piece. Scored along about a 1/3 of the way up on the ornament and adhered to floor to act as my stopper. Stamped the rest of the sentiment on white cardstock, trimmed down and added some picot edges and adhered to floor.

Die cut the "Best Wishes" from  a blue/silver cardstock (packaging from Dream Weaver...)
