I created 3 cards with 1 alcohol background from a 5 x 7" piece of Yupo - this one is a positive die cut and is the 1st in the series... You can see the others HERE (negative pieces) and HERE (the frame)

I'm using an A Way With Words dies  "Magic"  from Elizabeth Craft Designs, also available on Quietfire Design HERE

And I'm using a quote stamp from Quietfire Design ("Autumn Is A Second..."); 

And a clear sentiment stamp ("Birthday Collection" 8pce set) also available from Elizabeth Craft Designs HERE.

Created the alcohol background from a 5" x 7" piece of white Yupo using a "Butterscotch", "Poppy Field" and "Botanical" alcohol ink and blending solution. Since my die cut (Tutti Designs "Leaves Background")  is only 4 x 5.25" I was able to create a frame from the leftover Yupo. Adhered to a piece of black cardstock and then onto my card front.

Die cut the "Magic" from red cardstock and adhered to a piece of the gold cardstock adding picot edge.

On the floor: Stamped the quote using Versafine Black Onyx and clear embossed on cream cardstock. Die cut with Elizabeth Craft Designs "Stitched Circles" die set, sponged some "Candied Apple" around the edges. Used a Zig black marker and edged the circle. Cut off a small piece so I had a flat edge. Adhered to floor with 3D foam tape to act as my stopper.

Die cut the leaves (Impression Obsession) from an Oxide decorated cardstock. Randomly adhered. Tied a faux bow from a ladybug gauze ribbon and added the gold circle brad.

Stamped the "Happy Birthday on cream cardstock. clear embossed and adhered to floor to help as my stopper.
