ID: MC Apr/18 - Easel Paris - ECD Spring - Make A Wish  - HB card
size: 7"w x 5"H (Easel closed)

Created: April 8, 2018
Modified:

I got a batch of Deco Arts French stencils from Amazon.ca. I hadn't realized they were 12" x 12" stencils... way too big for most of what I do. sigh!! but with a bit of maneuvering... I managed to get the Paris word on the card.

I'm using an A Way With Words dies  "Seasons - Spring" 4pce set  from Elizabeth Craft Designs, also available on Quietfire Design HERE

I'm also using a clear  quote/sentiment "Happy Birthday Collection" 8pce stamp set from Quietfire Design also available from Elizabeth Craft Designs HERE

Scored and folded my light lavender cardstock to create my easel structure.

Stenciled the "Paris" word using Distress pads and mini sponges, moving the stencil as needed to overlap the letters. The letter "P" with "Mustard Seed" all over then lightly with "Candied Apple". The "A" with the candied apple all over than with "Chipped Sapphire". Continued on in this fashion with "Crushed Olive", "Pine Needles" and "Dusty Concord". Trimmed down and adhered to a 7"w x 5"h black cardstock.

Die cut the "Eiffel Tower" (Spellbinders "French Frills" die set) from black cardstock. Adhered to card front.

Die cut the "Spring from a bright pink cardstock and adhered to front. Added the words "in the" using a black fine tipped marker.

Stamped the "Make a Wish" using Versafine Black Onyx.

Adhered some roses from my stash created a longtime ago using :Die-Namics "Mini Hybrid Heirloom Roses"

On the floor: stamped the sentiments onto white cardstock using the black and clear embossed. Die cut with Elizabeth Craft Designs "Stitched Ovals" die set, sponging lightly with a dirty purple sponge.

Die cut the deep pink oval from one size up in the set. Adhered the two together and then onto the card floor with 3D foam tape to act s my stopper.

adhered more roses from my stash as well as a leaf from a Peonies stamp set and those vine sprigs (drop out pieces) from Tim's "Mixed Media 5" die set.
