ID: MC Sept/17 - Easel English Rose - ECD Thinking Of You - Leave Room card
size: 7"w x 5" (easel closed)

Created: September 9, 2017
Modified:

I just acquired several Crafters Companion 3D embossing folders (English Rose being used today, Ornate Lace and Regency Swirls). They are gorgeous.

I'm using an A Way With Words dies "Thinking Of You"  from Elizabeth Craft Designs, also available on Quietfire Design HERE

And I'm using a quote stamp and design element stamp from Quietfire Design.

("Leave Room In Your Garden"); ("A Rustle In The Wind" 4pce set)

Scored, folded my cream toned cardstock to create the easel. Cut another piece same size as card and adhered to front.

I ran my black cardstock through my embossing machine. NOTE: highly recommend lightly misting the back of your cardstock prior embossing or else you will get lots of cracking in your cardstock...

I used my finger to rub on Metallic Rub On paste in various colors. Trimmed down and adhered to card front.

Die cut the "Thinking of You" from a cream toned cardstock, inked with Versamark and embossed with Pearlescent embossing powder.

On the floor:

Stamped the quote on cream toned cardstock using Versafine Black Onyx and clear embossed. Die cut using Spellbinders Label 18, sponged around edges with a dirty pink sponge. Adhered to floor with 3D foam tape to act as my stopper.

Stamped the fairy on white cardstock using Distress pads and then colored the body of the fairy with a black marker. Fussy cut around her and adhered to floor. Raided my stash for the Die-Namics Heirloom Hybrid Roses. I applied clear nail polish to the bottom layer of petals and then immediately dipped them in Ranger's Rock Candy glitter.

The leaves and blue flowers were electronically cut and then stamped and or colored with Prisma colored pencils (AlteNew "Garden Treasures"). Added a mini white pearl in each blue flower.

Final touch added a pinky toned dotted bow
