ID: MC Sept/17 - Easel A Moment -  ECD Perfect Thoughts - How Lovely card
size: 5"w x 7 (easel closed)

Created: September 25, 2017

I I was showing the gals how I create using my Penny Black stamps an of course made a bunch of samples... so now I'm putting them on cards...

I'm using an A Way With Words die "You Are Perfect" 2pce set, "Warm Thoughts" 2pce set from Elizabeth Craft Designs, also available on Quietfire Design HERE and HERE

And using a quote stamp from Quietfire Design,

("How Lovely Is The Silence")

Scored, folded my Olive toned Bazzill Monochromatic cardstock to create the easel, cutting another piece the same size as card for the front.

Stamped the flower on watercolor paper using my Stamp Platform (Tim's) and Distress pads. Created a mask of the flower and then stamped the text background (Heidi Swapp) using an older Versafine Black Onyx stamp pad - gave a more greyish tone.

Distress the edges with Tim's distresser. Hit the edges with a dark brown sponge. Tied some blue and pink twine around the layer and then adhered to front. Adhered a bow with the same twine.

Die cut the "Perfect" from the gold mirror cardstock (DoCrafts) and adhered to front.

On the floor: Adhered a scored border and adhered the die cut word "Thoughts", inking it with Versafine pad and embossing with Queen's Gold embossing powder.

Stamped the quote using Versafine Black Onyx and clear embossed on a cream toned cardstock. Die cut with Elizabeth Craft Designs "Stitched Rectangles" die set. Sponged edges with the brown and adhered to floor.

Stamped the words "of you" using my stamp platform, inking with the Versafine and embossing with the gold.
