I picked up a souvenir stamp sheet of the Canadian bird images... Well I thought it was a souvenir sheet, but was actually a first edition cancelled post card... unusable as postage Sigh!!! So I removed it from the card base and adhered it to my card.

I'm using one of the newest an A Way With Words dies "Soar"  from Elizabeth Craft Designs, also available on Quietfire Design HERE

As well as quote stamps from the "Soar Collection" 8pce and "Happy Birthday Collection" 8pce clear stamp sets from Elizabeth Craft Designs also available on Quietfire Design HERE and HERE

Cut a piece from a Distress Oxide background a bit smaller than my card base. adhered the postage image.

Found an eagle image and electronically cut it from white cardstock. Inked the body with a black marker. Adhered to background piece.

Die cut the "Soar" from dark blue cardstock an adhered to background.

Stamped the quote using Versafine "Majestic Blue" stamp pad and clear embossing

Adhered background to card front. 

On the floor: Stamped the quoteon a scrap of the Oxide background using the blue and clear embossing. Adhered to floor adding a couple piece of blue narrow ribbon on the corners.

Electronically cut the bird image and stamped (Designs By Ryn) using Versafine Black Onyx and clear embossed. Painted with Distress pads. Adhered to floor. Added a small black rhinestone for the eye.

Scored and folded and adhered a lip to act as my stopper from the blue cardstock.
