I'm taking an Uncial calligraphy class taught by Kerri Forster - 2hrs/week for 4 weeks. One of the exercises we were asked do do was a block of text... I translated that into this card. And I'm using one of my newest Penny Black Xmas stamps. Loving it...

I'm using an A Way With Words dies "Peace"  from Elizabeth Craft Designs, also available on Quietfire Design HERE

Created the calligraphic artwork on back cardstock using a white ink (Copic white Opaque mixed with H2º) and a 1/4" flat edged brush. When dry painted the negative areas using Finetec metallic watercolors. When that was dry, outlined the letters with a black Sharpie. Adhered to front.

On the floor: Used my Tim's Stampin Platform to stamp the ornaments using Distress pads. Moved color around with a wet brush. Added a shadow around the ornaments. Dried and restamped using Versamark and clear embossed a couple times.

Die cut the "Peace" from DoCraft gold mirror cardstock  and adhered to ornament piece.

Adhered to floor with 3D foam tape to act as my stopper.
