ID: MC Oct/17 - Easel Halloween - ECD Just Be Brave - Coffee You're All Mine card
size: 7"w x 5"H (easel closed)

Created: October 20, 2017
Modified:

Suzanne came out with a digital coffee cup and there was this sentiment in the new batch of clear stamps and I knew they were a match made in heaven or was that in the witch's cauldron...

I'm using an A Way With Words dies "Be Brave" 4pce set and "Just" 2pce set from Elizabeth Craft Designs, also available on Quietfire Design HERE and HERE

I'm also using a sentiment clear stamp ("Love & Hearts Collection" 10pce set ); from Quietfire Design also available on Elizabeth Craft Designs HERE.

And I'm using a Silhouette electronic file "Coffee-Break-Tag-Box"

Scored, folded my pumpkin toned cardstock to create the easel. Cut a piece of deep purple the same size as card and adhered to front. Cut a piece of the pumpkin slightly smaller and adhered to front.

Found a witch/cauldron image on line and electronically cut from white cardstock. Painted with Distress dabber "Black Soot". When dry, inked the cauldron only with Versamark and embossed with Distress "Black Soot". Adhered to card front.

Die cut the "Just Be Brave" from scraps of the purple cardstock. Adhered to card front and using a white gel pen added dots to some of the letters. Used a Quickie glue pen and drew a line through the "Brave" letters and sprinkled with Stickles yellow dry glitter.

Using Tim's "Halloween Words" embossing folder and pumpkin cardstock, ran through my machine. Hit the high points direct to paper with a couple of the Distress purple pads. Cut the words/letters apart and adhered to card front.

On the floor: Electronically cut the coffee cup and while still on my mat, colored with various Distress pads. Stamped the madras design (Penny Black "Warm Thoughts"). Inked the foam with Versamark and embossed with Emerald Creek "Soft Fallen Snow". Assembled the parts. Scored about half way down the cup and adhered the bottom portion to the floor to act as my stopper.

Die cut the tag (Spellbinder's "French Frills"), stamped the sentiment using Versafine Black Onyx and clear embossed. Place tag back in die and sponged with "Carved Pumpkin". Tied a purple/gold bow and adhered to tag, then onto cup.

Dry embossed the "Poison" (Tim's Sizzix embossing folder). Since I had already adhered my coffee cup I had to surgically cut around it to adhere my poison background to the floor...
