I just got a bunch of the newest stamps from Suzanne at Quietfire Design and had to use this "Merry Christmas" background stamp. I ABSOLUTELY love it... It's a perfect size too 3.5"h x 4.5"w. And I'm using one of my newest Penny Black acquisitions... I have no more room in my drawer which is dedicated to Penny Black stamps... So either they have to stop making stamps I love or I have to learn to control my buying...

I'm using an A Way With Words die "Cozy", "Calligraphic Elements 2" 3pce set and "Warm Thoughts" 2pce set from Elizabeth Craft Designs, also available on Quietfire Design HERE, HERE and HERE

And using a newest quote and background stamp from Quietfire Design, 

("Home For The Holidays" 5pce set);  ("Merry Christmas Background")

On white cardstock, using my Tim's Stampin Platform and Distress pads, stamped the candle (Penny Black "Flambeau") and holly sprig (Penny Black "Holly Sprig"). Used a wet paintbrush to move color around and added the background. Used a colored pencil to add some minor detail. Trimmed down, sponged more color around the edges and adhered to front.

Stamped the sentiment using Versafine Black Onyx and clear embossed.

On the floor: Stamped the text background using Distress Oxide pad "Antique Linen" 

Die cut the words from gold mirror cardstock (DoCrafts)

Adhered a line of pearl ribbon to floor to act as my stopper.
