- Easel - ECD Merry Christmas - May Your Heart Be Warm card
Created: November 27, 2017 I just got a bunch of the newest stamps from Suzanne at Quietfire Design and had to use this "Merry Christmas" background stamp. I ABSOLUTELY love it... It's a perfect size too 3.5"h x 4.5"w. This is such a quick and easy card... A die cut, a couple stamps a touch of dry embossing and a ribbon... I'm using an A Way With Words die "Merry Christmas" from Elizabeth Craft Designs, also available on Quietfire Design HERE. And using a newest quote and background stamp from Quietfire Design, ("May Your Heart Be Warm"); ("Merry Christmas Background")

Scored and folded
my green textured cardstock to create the easel, cutting another piece the same size as
card for the front.
Adhered a piece of bright green satin ribbon across the front, then adhered a piece of two tone green gauze ribbon on top. Stamped the Merry Christmas Background stamp on white cardstock using Versafine Olympia Green and clear embossed. Trimmed down and adhered to a piece of the green cardstock leaving a very very narrow border, then adhering to a gold from the DCWV "The Naturals" paper pad. Adhered to card front. Die cut the Merry Christmas from a gold mirror cardstock (DoCrafts), and adhered to front. Tired a bow with the green gauze ribbon and adhered to front. |

On the floor: Stamped the quote using Versafine Black Onyx and clear embossed. Selectively embossed the "Berry Branch" (Elizabeth Craft Designs embossing folder) using my hard rubber mallet. Hit the high points first with "Mowed Lawn" and then with "Shabby Shutters" Trimmed down and adhered to floor. Scored a piece of the green cardstock and adhered to floor to act as my stopper. |
