I got this cable knit embossing folder from Stampin Up a while ago and thought it would create a nice masculine card. It's a very 3D folder and does not fit in my Cuttlebug machine (it's about 1/16" too wide...), so luckily I have my Cherry Lynn Crossover machine.

I'm using an A Way With Words dies "Cozy", "Calligraphic Elements 2" 2pce set and "Warm Thoughts" from Elizabeth Craft Designs, also available on Quietfire Design  HERE, HERE  and HERE

And using a "Christmas Collection" clear stamp set from Elizabeth Craft Designs, also available on Quietfire Design HERE

Embossed the cable knit design on cream cardstock, misting the back lightly to prevent cracking. Sponged all over with "Gathered Twigs" then hit the high points direct to paper with the same pad. Very lightly sponged Prima Art Wax "Rich Copper" over the cables. Trimmed down to fit card width.

Die cut the words from DoCrafts Gold Mirror cardstock.

I had some scraps of snowflakes from a previous card embossed with Emerald Creek "Soft Fallen Snow". 

On the floor: adhered the trimmed of pieces of the cable knit embossed piece and adhered to either edge of floor.

Stamped the quote and sentiment using Distress Picket Fence and embossed with white embossing powder.

I've had this garland of gold snowflakes/beads from Michael's art store from eons ago purchased in their sale bin... I finally cut some apart, applied some adhesive and sprinkled with a silver glitter. Adhered to card with hot glue to act as my stopper.
