Quietfire Creations is have a kind of stencil blog hop week (with no hopping...) and with prizes . I decided to do a stencil card for every day of the hop... I know I'm an over achiever...

And I splurged and bought a bunch of lace trim... so you'll see it popping up as well.

I'm using an A Way With Words die "Happy Birthday" die and stencil "Flourished Frame" from Elizabeth Craft Designs, also available on Quietfire Design HERE and HERE

Suzanne came out with a bunch of new stamps that are fabulous, you'll see several of them in action in the coming week...

("Wishing You Whimsy" 4pce set);

Scored and folded my deep rose cardstock to create the easel, and an orange toned Bazzil monochromatic piece the same size as card for the front.

On a piece of white cardstock, stenciled the frame using Distress "Victorian Violet" then shifting the stencil slightly and sponging with "Black Soot", then clear embossing.

Created the flower from a Color Burst decorated background paper, then punched a ton of petals out with a mini oval shaped punch. Adhered them on a small punched out circle, tooling the petals for more depth. Added a pink rhinestone center.

The die cut butterfly is from my stash and I added some orange glitter Stickles.

Adhered the lace trim around the edges and then onto the card front.

Stamped the words, masking some of them to create the words I wanted and inked with Versafine "Imperial Purple" and clear embossed.

On the floor: die cut the "Happy Birthday" from an alcohol decorated glossy paper and from a white cardstock, adhering both together slightly off set, then onto the orange cardstock. Adhered to floor with 3D foam tape.

Adhered the trim around the edges.

This flower was created with punched out circles, tooled, pinched, assembled and Nuvo Crystal Drops "Golden Sunset" dropped in the center.
