- Easel Stencil Frame Feather - ECD Dream - The Greatest card
Created: May 27, 2017 Quietfire Creations is have a kind of stencil blog hop week (with no hopping...) and with prizes . I decided to do a stencil card for every day of the hop... I know I'm an over achiever... And I splurged and bought a bunch of lace trim... so you'll see it popping up as well. I'm using an A Way With Words die "Dream" die and stencil "Flourished Frame" and "Feathers" from Elizabeth Craft Designs, also available on Quietfire Design HERE, HERE and HERE Suzanne came out with a bunch of new stamps that are fabulous, you'll see several of them in action in the coming week... ("The Greatest Revelation...");

Stenciled the
flourished frame using "Broken China" and clear embossed.
Stenciled the feathers using yellows and greens, then used a colored
pencil to create vein lines. Surgically trimmed around the edges of
the frame. I scanned the trimmed piece and created an easel card in
my Silhouette software and cut from a sage green toned cardstock.
Adhered the trimmed piece to the front.
Stamped the quote using Versafine Black Onyx and clear embossed. Added a Sari bow. |

On the floor: Adhered the silk/gauze white ribbon to the floor, then adhered the floral ribbon above and below the gauze ribbon. Die cut the "Dream" from white cardstock twice. Inking the top layer with Versamark and embossing with Emerald Creek "Thanksgiving" embossing powder. The bottom layer I inked with the Broken China. Adhered both layers together, slightly off set, then onto the card floor. Punched out the butterfly (Martha Stewart) from a scrap piece of Oxide background. Adhered to floor to act as my stopper. |
