Suzanne came out with some really nice Canada Day and 4th of July Silhouette files... So I had to create something with them. BIG GRIN

I'm using a sentiment stamp from Quietfire Design.

Scored and folded my red textured cardstock to create the easel, and cut another piece same size for the front.

Electronically cut the maple leaf from white cardstock. Removed the outline portion only from my mat and painted the underside with Distress Dabber "Candied Apple". Dried, inked with Versafine Habanera, embossed with Emerald Creek "Chinese New Year" embossing powder then placed it back on the mat, painted side down. Removed all the negative bits. Applied a piece of double sided tape over the cut image including a portion of the white background on my mat then carefully removed it from the mat. Sprinkled with glitter. Trimmed down, removed the release paper and adhered to front of card.

Adhered a piece of white satin/gauze ribbon.

Painted the words with the red dabber and adhered onto ribbon.

On the floor:

On white cardstock, stamped the maple leaves (Evolving Images "Silver Maple") using Versamark and clear embossed. Sponged all over with the red, then with a damp paper towel, wiped off the excess.

Stamped the sentiment with Habanera and then hit here and there with black, clear embossed. Trimmed down and added a picot edge. Adhered to floor piece added a red maple leaf brad.

Painted the "I Am Canadian" using the red dabber, dried, inked with the Habanera and embossed with the Chinese New Year embossing powder. Adhered to floor piece.

Adhered floor piece to floor using 3D foam tape to act as stopper.
