I created this one on a heavy weight calligraphy paper and with all those white areas it really reminded me of a cloudy sky... Then I was in a mood for something exotic... and these Russian Minarets were exactly what I wanted against my clouds. Since the Russian colors are red and blue - kept the card to those colors...

I'm using an A Way With Words die "Dream"  from Elizabeth Craft Designs, also available on Quietfire Design HERE

I'm a quote and sentiment stamp set from Quietfire Design.

("Happy Birthday Plain and Simple" 7pce set); ("The Longest Journey...")

Trimmed down the Oxide background and adhered to front.

I electronically cut the Russian Minaret  image from white cardstock, painted with Distress Dabber "Black Soot", dried then inked with a black pad and embossed with Distress "Black Soot" embossing powder. Adhered to card front, then filled in the building openings with some glue and sprinkled with various colors of glitter.

Die cut the "Dream" from a whitish/blue cardstock.

Stamped the bird (Penny Black "Winged Beauty" set) using Oxide inks and clear embossing.

Added mint green half pearls to the spires of the minarets. 

On the floor: 

Adhered another piece of the Oxide background onto a piece of white cardstock, trimmed down adhering most of it to the floor, but scored a 1/8" ledge to act as my stopper.  

Stamped the quote and sentiment using Versafine Black Onyx and clear embossed.

Stamped the bird (Penny Black "Winged Beauty" set) with Oxide inks and clear embossed.

Final touch added a blue/god Sari ribbon bow.
