I've been challenged to make cards or things using ribbon... this woven piece was a scrap laying on my desk from a card I'll be uploading later in August... I had created a woven piece on the diagonal using Sari ribbon (my favorite ribbon...). I used "Cupcake" (Sorbet would look similar) and "Glint"

I'm using an A Way With Words die "Happy Birthday" 2pce die set from Elizabeth Craft Designs, also available on Quietfire Design HERE

And I'm using a quote stamp from Quietfire Design

("We cannot Tell..." 2pce companion set);

Created the woven piece, adhering double sided tape on the top edge of my white cardstock. Adding tape along the right and left sides as I worked my way down. After weaving, trimmed it down and applied more double sided adhesive under the weaving and to the white cardstock carefully.... Cut off my main piece for the original card and this was the left over piece.

adhered a piece of pearlized textured white paper to a piece of white cardstock, then cut a frame. Adhered to my ribbon weave and then onto my card front.

Die cut and adhered the 'Happy Birthday from a fuchsia colored mirror cardstock.

On the inside: Stamped the quote using Distress picket Fence and embossed with white embossing powder.

Stamped the floral sprig (Penny Black "First Blush") using various chalk and Oxide pads. Then colored with Prisma colored pencils.
