I got a new die set from Tim "Mixed Media 2" and finally got into a creative mode...

I'm using a couple of the newest  A Way With Words dies from Elizabeth Craft Designs "Because"  and "Special" also available on Quietfire Design HERE and HERE

Also using a few sentiment  stamps from Quietfire Design

("I Don't Tell You Often Enough" 5pce set);  ("Happy Birthday Plain and Simple" 7pce set)

To create the upper design element I'm using SCAL software with my Silhouette machine: Place the die on your scanner bed, scan and import into a photo editing program. Ink the image so it is a silhouette (solid black) image. Import it into your electronic cutter and, choose the shadow layer option (increase this to about 1.5). Copy and paste it, flip it so it is a mirror image. Move it so it overlaps your first image slightly at the center points. Select all and weld together. Cut. I folded the cut design in half and placed my die within the boundaries and die cut. I electronically cut another layer from the lavender and adhered both layers together then onto my deep purple layer.

Scored and folded my medium toned purple cardstock to create the easel and adhered the purple layer from above onto the front.

Die cut the "Because" from a silver metallic cardstock which I first adhered a piece of "Stick-it" adhesive. PS I didn't waste any of the die cut elements... I adhered the negative drop out pieces and the outer outline to another piece of cardstock - which is now in my stash for later...

Final touch, added a multi loop fork bow from Sari ribbon.

On the floor: Die cut the "Special" from a leftover piece of decorated 90# HP watercolor paper colored with Brushos and Color Burst powders and liquid metals (various pinks, purples) and coarse salt.. The heirloom hybrid roses (Die-Namics) were cut from the same paper.

Cut a piece of the deep purple cardstock the width of my card, scored it down the center, adhered the "Special" partially to it and adhered it to the floor to act as my stopper.

Stamped the "you are" on the purple cardstock, using Versamark stamp pad and embossing with Silver embossing powder. Trimmed down and adhered to stopper.

Stamped the various sentiments onto the purple cardstock using the Versamark pad and silver embossing powder. Trimmed down and punched the corners with a corner rounder. Adhered to floor.

Electronically cut some leaves, inked with the Versamark and embossed with the silver. Adhered to floor, then adhered the heirloom roses. Final touch added a rhinestone flourish.
