ID: MC Dec/17 - Easel Xmas Wreath - ECD Dec 25 - Home For The Holidays card
size: 5"w x 7"H

Created: December 5, 2017
Modified:

One of the gals was punching out a bunch of pine sprigs and making wreath cards... Haven't made one of those in eons... So of course I had to make one now... I was lazy though and it's hard for me to stand to punch things out... so I created a Silhouette file from one of the punched sprigs and electronically cut them out...

I'm using an A Way With Words dies  "Dec 25" from Elizabeth Craft Designs, also available on Quietfire Design  HERE

I'm also using a couple of the newest stamp sets from Quietfire Design.

("Home For The Holidays" 5pce set); ("Christmas Truths" 3pce set)

Scored and folded my white cardstock to create the easel, Cut a piece of red textured cardstock same size as card and adhered to front.

Stamped the brick background (Impression Obsession Cover a Card "Brick") using my Tim's Stampin Platform, inking with Distress "Aged Mahogany" all over, misting with water and stamping on white cardstock. Hit the stamp here and there with "Black Soot" and stamped again. Trimmed down and adhered to front.

Die cut a ring for the wreath using Spellbinders circle die set and adhered to front. adhered the pine sprigs all around, gluing only the bottom edges of the sprigs and overlapping well. When done adhered the red/white polka dotted ribbon. Added red pearls.

Die cut the "Dec 25" from gold mirror cardstock (DoCrafts)

On the floor: Dry Embossed the brick background (Sizzix Tim's Bricked"). Hit the high points with the mahogany  pad.

Stamped the sentiment on white cardstock using Versafine Habenero and embossing with Emerald Creek "Chinese New Year" embossing powder. Die cut with Elizabeth Craft Designs "Stitched Rectangles" die set. Adhered the red/gold ribbon to a piece of the red cardstock, adhered the quote and then adhered to floor with 3D foam tape to act as my stopper.
