ID: MC Aug 17 - Easel Musical - ECD Happy Birthday - Fill 'er Up JAM card
size: 5.5"w x 5.5"h (card closed)

Created: August 5, 2017
Modified:

A while back Suzanne from Quietfre Design asked the design team to use the Fill 'er Up words/letters... I've done quite a few combinations using the letters, but I really love this one. I'm not musically inclined or even listen to music, but I do love jazz and this de cut...

Also Suzanne asked us to use ribbon on cards...Love using it as borders... I'm using my favorite Sari ribbon that comes in a multitude of colors... this one is "Sorbet" - check out the ribbons section at QuetfireDesign.ca

I'm using an A Way With Words die "It's a Party" 3pce die set from Elizabeth Craft Designs, also available on Quietfire Design HERE

And I'm using several Fill 'er Up letter stamps from Quietfire Design

("JOY"); ("DAd" 2pce set); ("MUm" 2pce set)

Used my electronic cutter to create an outline of my die shape, then cut and folded my white cardstock.

Also created a cut file to cut the solid border under the die cut from white cardstock painted with Distress dabber Black Soot.

Cut the die cut from white cardstock, inked with Versafine "Toffee" and embossed with Queen's Gold embossing powder. Adhered the border layer with the die cut layer, then adhered that to the Distress Oxide background I had laying around... then adhered it to the extra front panel I cut and then onto the front of the easel. I know... seems like a lot of layering...

Die cut the "It's a Party" from white cardstock, inked with Versafine "Imperial Purple" and embossed with Emerald Creek "Mardis Gras" embossing powder.

On the Floor: On a scrap piece of the oxide background, stamped the leters to spell "JAM" using Versafine Black Onyx and clear embossed. Used a Ranger embossing pen to doodle and embossed with Inkadinkado "Hot Pink"; Ranger "Yellow"; and Emerald Creek "Thanksgiving" embossing powders.

Adhered the Sari ribbon "Sorbet" with Sookwang tape.

With another small scrap of the Oxide background created a little stopper for my easel. Die cut the letters (Eliabeth Craft Designs) to spell "Let's" inked with the purple and embossed with the Mardis Gras
