My turn again on the Quietfire Digital blog and Suzanne came out with this cute Birdhouse file. Couldn't resist...

I'm using a quote, part of a quote an some sentiment stamps from Quietfire Design

("Sometimes I Just Look Up..."); ("Spring Has Returned..."); ("Just For You" 4pce set)

Scored and folded my white card. 

Embossed the clouds using Elizabeth Craft Designs  "Clouds" embossing folder, then hit the high points direct to paper with Distress "Tumbled Glass" pad.

Cut all the elements of the birdhouse from white cardstock and colored with various Distress pads and markers. Assembled everything. Used a fabric ribbon of leafy vine which was white and I colored with Distress Stain "Mowed Lawn". Added golden yellow pearl centers to the flowers.

I used my Misti to do the stamping, both for the quote and sentiment, masking the rest of the quote around the word "Smile" and using Versafine Black Onyx, then clear embossing.

Inside: I stamped the bird (Stacy Stamps "Chipping Sparrow") using the black and cut around it. Colored with Derwent Inktense watercolor pencils. Adhered to inside.

Again used my Misti to stamp the words using the black and clear embossing.
