ID: Lungs - ECD Get Well Soon
card
Created: October 30, 2017 One of my cousins just had a complete lung transplant. So far he's doing well. I'm keeping my fingers crossed. So I made him a card I'm using an A Way With Words dies "Get Well Soon" from Elizabeth Craft Designs, also available on Quietfire Design HERE

Scored, folded my white cardstock. Drew
the shape of a pair of lungs, outlined in black and colored with
Prisma colored pencils.
applied Duct tape along right side and bottom of card. Die cut the "Get Well Soon" from orange cardstock and adhered to front. Since I recently took an Uncial calligraphy class, decided to write my sentiments with that hand using a Parallel pen and Sumi ink on white cardstock. Trimmed down and adhered to front. On the inside, also wrote my words using a 6.0 mm Parallel pen and the sumi ink. Colored the interior of the letters with orange and the negative space with yellow. (yes, I know there should be more space between the letters - no room...) |

On the floor: Stamped the quote on the untextured side of a scrap of the green cardstock using Versafine Black Onyx and clear embossed. Die cut with Elizabeth Craft Designs "Stitched Rectangles". Hit the edges with a brown Distress pad. Adhered to floor with 3D foam tape to act as my stopper. |
