ID: Tim's Wk 5 - Faux Marble Tag - ECD Believe - In Yourself
size: 5"w x 7"h

Created: July 7, 2016
Modified:

I'm taking the "Summer of Creative Chemistry" onLine class from Jennifer McGuire taught by Tim. This tag is part of Week 5. The marble background is the first generation pull through the wet paint. You can see the card I made with the 2nd generation pull through the paint HERE

I'm using one of the "A Way With Words" dies from Elizabeth Craft Designs  ("Believe"), designed by Suzanne Cannon  also available on Quietfire Design HERE

And I'm using a couple stamps from Quietfire Design  and an eCut file available on the Silhouette onLine store

("Butterfly Circles - May the WIngs..." 5pce set); ("If You Don't Believe in Miracles" 3 pce set); Silhouette file ("Quietfire Butterfly Tag")

Applied acrylic daubers to my craft sheet ("Mustard Seed", "Mowed Lawn", "Mermaid Lagoon", "Wild Honey"), misted with Perfect Pearls "Perfect Pearls" mist, ran my white cardstock through the paint and then misted some more with the pearls. Tilted etc and then dried.

Used my electronic cutter to cut the butterfly tag from the above cardstock.

Stamped the square grid corner stamp using Archival pads and rolling the stamp for a more organic look.

Stamped the butterflies along the left side (Tim's "Attic Treasures") using Versafine Black Onyx.

Stamped the butterfly circle using the black on a yellow toned piece of vellum and clear embossed. Die cut with Spellbinders circle die set. Stamped the "in Yourself" masking the rest of the sentiment using the black and clear embossed. Adhered to tag with Glossy Accents.

Die cut the "Believe" from white cardstock, inked with Versamark and embossed with Emerald Creek Hot Stuff "Silver Satin Pearl" embossing powder.

Final touch added a pink Sari ribbon.
