- Oval Easel Leaves - ECD Love, Autumn - Second Spring card
Created: September 18, 2016 I had this urge to make a giant autumn leaf...and one of the challenges called for an oval shape... I'm using an A Way With Words die from Elizabeth Craft Designs "4Seasons - Autumn" 4pce set and "Love" also available on Quietfire Design HERE and HERE I'm using a quote stamp from Quietfire Design

I electronically
cut the oval shapes for my easel, along with an extra oval for the
front. Scored and
folded the cream toned card.
Scanned and imported one of the leaves (Sizzix "Tattered Leaves") and enlarged it to about 6.5"w and cut from glossy photo paper. While on the mat pounced with various colors of alcohol inks ("Butterscotch", "Caramel", "Cranberry", and "Meadow") and added a bit of blending solution. Cut another leaf from the cream cardstock and adhered both together for strength. Die cut several sets of leaves from various decorated alcohol ink papers. (cranberry, meadow and a touch of caramel) & (meadow, cranberry). Die cut the "Love" and "Autumn" from brown cardstock, inked with Versamark and embossed with Emerald Creek "Oil Rubbed Bronze" embossing powder. Adhered all the elements to the oval shape and then to the front of the easel. |

On the floor: Stamped the Quote using Versafine Black Onyx and clear embossed on cream cardstock. Die cut with Elizabeth Craft Designs "Stitched Ovals" die set. Sponged with some Distress "Vintage Photo". adhered some green/gold Sari ribbon ends under the oval and then adhered the oval to the floor. Adhered the leaf on the left. Adhered the leaf on the right onto another die cut leaf for strength, and then onto the floor as the stopper. Added a couple of green flower buttons |
