size: 7"w x 5"h (easel closed)

I just got a bunch of new Penny Black stamps and loving every one of them. Have been having fun painting them on watercolor paper...

I'm using an A Way With Words die from Elizabeth Craft Designs "Best Wishes"  also available on Quietfire Design HERE

I'm using a  quote and sentiment  stamp  from Quietfire Design

("Light Tomorrow..."); ("Winter Wonderland" 6pce set); ("The Woods Would Be Very Silent..." 5pce set)

Scored and folded my mid toned green textured card. Cut a front piece the same size and adhered to front.

I used my Misti tool, inked the Penny Black "Cones & Berries" stamp with various Distress mini pads in appropriate colors on 90# Arches HP watercolor paper. Spread the inks around with a paint brush and water adding more color where needed. Added some background color, wet on wet technique. Trimmed down to size and sponged the edges with some deep blue.

Stamped the lantern (same stamp set) with Distress black, masking of the twigs to have the lantern in the background, embossed with Emerald Creek "Hammered Metal" embossing powder. Placed the page back in my Misti and stamped the candle, then colored it with colored pencils.

Stamped the quote using Versafine Black Onyx and clear embossed.

Stamped the bird  with the black and colored with colored pencils.

Adhered to my easel card front.

On the floor:

Used my Misti again and stamped the sentiment using Distress Picket Fence and embossing with detail white embossing powder. placed the card back in the Misti, slight off set and stamped with the black and embossed with Emerald Creek Onyx Frost embossing powder.

Stamped the cute deer with the black and colored the tail with a white colored pencil.

Die cut the "Best Wishes" from a scrap piece of teal cardstock. Adhered to a scrap piece of the card green scored at 1/4" and adhered to the floor to create my stopper.

As a final touch adhered a gold narrow ribbon bow to the lamp post, adhered some snowflake ribbon pieces with a glue gun and some white pearlized rhinestone stars with glossy accent.
