- Alcohol Ink - ECD Season's Greetings - May Your Longest List card
Created: September 2, 2016 I was lucky enough to get a bunch of Kodak photo paper - the kind used in the automatic print machines in Superstore.... So I experimented with it. In theory using photo paper is not good with alcohol inks... but this paper worked beautifully. I think it's because it didn't have the 2nd layer (a thin film) adhered to it - it was the raw glossy paper. I'm using an A Way With Words die from Elizabeth Craft Designs "Season's Greetings" also available on Quietfire Design HERE I'm using a couple quote stamps from Quietfire Design

I scored and
folded my white card. Layered a piece of pearlized off white
cardstock, edge to edge, then die cut the right edge using Creative
Expressions Sue Wilson "Festive Collection - Poinsettia and
Holly Gemini" set. Created my alcohol background by applying inks to my clean felt (Aqua, Stream, Botanical, Poppyfield), pouncing on my glossy paper, adding a bit of blending solution and continuing to pounce. Dribbled some blending solution here and there and blotted up the excess. Die cut using the holly border. Created a cardstock mask and added gold mixitive to my felt, pouncing on the holly eaves only. Used a Krylon copper leafing pen to add the definition line. adhered to front. |
Adhered some gold/gold Sari ribbon to the left side and a flat bow... Die cut the "Season's Greetings from white Bazzill Monochromatic cardstock. |

On the Inside: Die cut another of the holly from some scrap green/gold alcohol ink paper. Adhered to left edge. Stamped the quote using the black and clear embossed.
