Fourth card in the alcohol series... I was lucky enough to get a bunch of Kodak photo paper - the kind used in the automatic print machines in Superstore.... So I experimented with it. In theory using photo paper is not good with alcohol inks... but this paper worked beautifully. I think it's because it didn't have the 2nd layer (a thin film) adhered to it - it was the raw glossy paper.

I'm using an A Way With Words die from Elizabeth Craft Designs "Dec 25" also available on Quietfire Design HERE

I'm using a  quote and sentiment and design element stamps  from Quietfire Design

("God Gave Us Memory..."); ("Merry Christmas - Poinsettia" 2pce set); ("The Earth Laughs in Flowers..." 2pce set)

I scored and folded my white card. Adhered a black layer leaving a 1/8" border all around.

Created my alcohol background - inking my felt (Raspberry, Sunshine Yellow, Botanical), adding blending solution, pounced on my glossy paper. Trimmed down and adhered to the card front leaving a 1/8" border all around.

eCut the rose (no fussy cutting...), stamped using Versafine Black Onyx and clear embossed. Created a blackout layer from black cardstock and adhered the two together. Adhered to front with 3D foam tape. Tied a black narrow ribbon bow.

Die cut the Dec 25 and created a blackout layer and eCut from black cardstock. Adhered the two together.

Stamped the quote using the black and clear embossed

On the Inside: Stamped the rose inking with Distress pads (Pine Needles, Picked Raspberry and Candied Apples), misted with water and stamped. Wet a brush and picked up some of the color from the pads to paint the flower.

Stamped the "Merry Christmas" with the black and clear embossed

Selectively dry embossed the rose design (Cuttlebug Anna Griffin "Rosa") using my hard rubber mallet. Hit the high points with a dirty pink sponge.
