I was in a mood to make one of those wintry skies...

I'm using an A Way With Words dies from Elizabeth Craft Designs "Brrrr"  also available on Quietfire Design HERE

I'm using a quote and sentiment stamp on the inside from  Quietfire Design  

("Warm Winter Wishes")

Scored, and folded my white card. Layered a pieced of deep blue textured cardstock, then a layer of white, then my sky background.

The sky background painted on 90# watercolor paper, wet on wet, with "Ultramarine" and then some "Quinacridone Rose", while damp, sprinkled with coarse salt and allowed to dry naturally. Brushed off the crystals. Stamped the trees (Penny Black "Woodland Wonder") using Versafine Black Onyx and embossing with Emerald Creek  "Onyx Frost" embossing powder.

Die cut the "Brrr" from white cardstock and adhered to front.

On the inside: punched a circle mask for the moon, and cut a wavy line to create the hills. Sponged some "Broken China" using a dirty blue sponge. Moved the mask down and repeated. Stamped the trees (Old Island Rubber) - upper parts only, inking with  Distress "Forest Moss" and here and there with Black Soot. 

Stamped the sentiment using the black and clear embossed.
