- Easel White Poinsettia - ECD Noel - Bessed Is The Season card
Created: October 9, 2016 And another of the Penny Black Poinsettia, this time trying for a white one... Really hard to do. I think for the next one I'll ink with white and white emboss. BIG GRIN I'm using an A Way With Words die from Elizabeth Craft Designs "Noel" also available on Quietfire Design HERE I'm using an oldie but goodie quote stamp from Quietfire Design

Scored, and folded
my olive Bazzil Monochromatic cardstock to create the easel. Cut
another piece for my front.
I used my Misti tool, inked the flower (Penny Black "Scarlet Majesty") stamp with various Distress mini pads in appropriate colors on 90# Arches HP watercolor paper. Painted with watercolors. Added a gold gel pen outline of the petals to accentuate them. Added white highlights in the berries with a white gel pen. Die cut the Spellbinders "Holly Frame" from a red textured cardstock. Inked through the die with Distress "Festive Berry" and embossed with gold embossing powder. Trimmed down the watercolor poinsettia and adhered under frame, then onto the card front. Die cut the "Noel" from the green Bazzil cardstock, inked with Versamark and clear embossed. Adhered to front. |

On the floor: Stamped the quote onto white cardstock inking all over with the festive berry and then here and there with "Mowed Lawn", clear embossed, sponged the edges with some "Crushed Olive". Adhered to floor using 3D foam tape. Die cut the holly corners from the red cardstock, inked through die with the berry and embossed with the gold. Adhered to edges of quote. Tied a gold/gold Sari ribbon bow and adhered with a glue gun. |
