ID: MC Oct16 - Easel Quill - ECD Cherish - Autumn Is A Second Spring card
size: 7"w x 5"h (easel closed)

Created: October 11, 2016
Modified:

I saw a leaf frame and was inspired to create a background with the concept. Cut with my electronic cutter... The quilled pieces are from my last quilling session a couple weeks ago. Those other 2 flowers are the circle punch petal flowers I created a while back... Things on my desk landing in my projects BIG GRIN.

I'm using an A Way With Words die from Elizabeth Craft Designs "Cherish"  also available on Quietfire Design HERE

I'm using a  quote and sentiment stamp  from Quietfire Design

("Autumn Is A Second Spring..."); ("In A Perfect World" 4pce set)

Scored, cut and folded my cream toned card to create the easel. Electronically cut another piece for my front sponged with various autumn colors of Distress pads ("Mustard Seed"; "Wild Honey"; "Ripe Persimmon"; "Worn Lipstick"; & "Mowed Lawn"). Dried thoroughly, then inked the leaves with Versamark and clear embossed. You can see the shimmer of the embossing in the side view card below.

Stamped the quote on the front using "Seedless Preserves" all over and then here and there with "Ground Espresso", clear embossed. Adhered tto front.

Adhered my various quilled elements and circle punch flowers. Added those fabulous gems to the centers of the quilled flowers.

Raided my stash for a purple Sari bow.

On the floor:

Stamped the flowers (Penny Black "Bejeweled") using my Misti. inked with Distress purples, misted with water and stamped onto cream cardstock. Moved my paper so the flower would show under the oval and continued stamping the leafy part of the flower.

Stamped the quote on cream cardstock inking with Versafine "Black Onyx", clear embossed. Die cut the oval (Elizabeth Craft Designs "Stitched Ovals" and sponged around the edges with the green and honey and mustard.

Die cut the "Cherish" from a bright yellow textured cardstock. Adhered on oval, then added the "I" using a black marker. Adhered oval with 3D foam tape to act as my stopper.
