ID: MC Nov 16 - Rocky Mountain - ECD Winter - Wonderland card
size: 7"w x 5h top fold

Created: November 3, 2016
Modified:

I've been on a roll creating masked snowy hill scenes and thought I'd try making some real mountains... a little pointy... c'est la vie - BIG GRIN

I'm using an A Way With Words dies from Elizabeth Craft Designs "4 Seasons - Winter"  also available on Quietfire Design HERE

I'm using part of a sentiment stamp  from  Quietfire Design

("Winter Wonderland" 6pce set)

Scored, and top folded my blue Bazzill monochromatic  card.

Punched a large circle as a mask for my moon. Cut some scrap cardstock in mountain peak formations... then sponged my sky with a couple of Distress blues on white cardstock. Used the edge of the mountain mask to create the shadows. Used a bamboo skewer dipped in a liquid white (Copic White Opaque ink mixed 50/50 with H2º) and splattered the sky with snow...

Stamped the fir tees using Versafine Black Onyx and clear embossed.

Cut an off set frame from a white pearlized textured cardstock. I had wanted to have the frame popped up but made a booboo... and stuck the scene to the back of the frame instead of my card base. sigh!!

Die cut the "Winter" from the same blue as the card.

Stamped the "Wonderland" masking off the "winter" word, inking with Versafine "Majestic Blue" and clear embossing.

Final touch, die cut a snowflake from white cardstock with Sookwang tape,, then sprinkled with Stickles dry glitter "Star Dust", burnished and adhered to card.
