And another month's tag for Tim's 2016 tag challenges is done... This one's for the May challenge.

I'm using one of the "A Way With Words" dies from Elizabeth Craft Designs  ("Hello"), designed by Suzanne Cannon  also available on Quietfire Design HERE

And I'm using one of the French sentiment stamps and part of the companion stamp from Quietfire Design  

("Francais" 8pce set); ("We Cannot Tell the Precise..." 2 pce set)

Die cut a bunch of Tim's tags using the "Bookplate & Tag" die from white cardstock.

Tissue tape resist technique - placed some tissue tape on the tag. Stamped my Kanban lady (Kanban "Moulin Divas - Tres Chic") over the tissue tape using Versafine Black Onyx. ps Tim suggested Archival pad. The Versafine takes a while to dry but seems to work OK as well...

Used Tim's "Flourished" stencil and Dreamweaver paste in various areas. Dried.

Placed some Distress stain onto my craft sheet ("Victorian Velvet", "Spiced Marmalade", "Faded Jeans"). Swiped my tag through the wetness once (I forgot to mist the tag first...). Added more stain to the tag in the missed areas. Dried with a heat gun.

I also found it too dark, so misted the whole tag again, and blotted up the excess color with a paper towel. Love the effect it gave to the paste.

Used Tim's distresser on the edges of the tag that was slightly moist.

Tied a bow with a brown/silver Sari ribbon. 

Side folded my cream toned card. Used the same flourish stencil and a sponge with the Victorian Velvet all over the front.

Added some vintage lace  trim to the left edge of the tag, then adhered the tag on the diagonal on the front of the card.

The 2nd part of Tim's tag challenge was the tattered florals. I stamped the Heidi Swapp text background stamp using the black on white cardstock all over. Cut the rose spirals, sponged with "Picked Raspberry" and some "Fossilized Amber", quilled the spiral into shape. When all were shaped, spritzed with a mix of 2 drops raspberry reinker, some iridescent medium, and H2º in a mini mister. Dried, then adhered to card front.

Added a piece of lace flower.

Stamped the little sentiments from the Kanban set using the black and clear embossed.

Die cut the "Hello" from white cardstock, inked with the black and embossed with Emerald Creek Hot Stuff "Chic Camo" embossing powder. 

Final touch added some mini square rhinestones.

On the inside: Stamped the other Kanban lady from the set using the black, clear embossed and colored with Prisma colored pencils. Added some Viva Pearl Pen highlights in the trim (Rose, Lilac & Silver Glitter)

Stamped the sentiment pieces with the black and clear embossed
