ID: MC May16 - One Sheet Fold cards
size: see below

Created: May 18, 2016
Modified: October 1/16

I'll be teaching this one sheet fold structure for cards at the next Paper Pastimes Pop Up store the weekend of July 23 - 24, 2016. Originally it was planned to include the calligraphy, but due to time constraints, it will only be the fold structure and embellishing.

The fold is constructed from a square piece of paper using a basic fold structure which I altered to create my own structure. For more details come join me in class... or click HERE for a PDF of the instructions. Enjoy

I'm using a bunch of the "A Way With Words" dies "Happy Anniversary", "Live", "Laugh" and one of the NEWEST sets which will be released later this month from Elizabeth Craft Designs "4 Seasons" designed by Suzanne Cannon (also available HERE, HERE, HERE & HERE).

Size: 5.5"w x 6"h

I used a romantic subdued scrapbook paper for the fold on this card. The circles were die cut using 2 of Spellbinders circle die sets.

Created the calligraphy using a cut up Popsicle stick dipped into a drop of Distress re-inker mixed with H2 on white cardstock in my Job Wouter's style lettering. When dry the letters were outlined with a Zig black writer. Then embellished with a Quickie glue pen and Ritz micro fine "Star Dust" glitter.

The monoline letters were also done with the Zig writer in my funky monoline style.

The structure was adhered to a lavender cardstock. The die cut words were die cut from some recycled cardstock packaging from Dreamweaver stencils.

Size: 5.5"w x 6"h

This one was done with a slightly heavier cardstock, which I don't recommend. The edges cracked... Adhered to a citrus green card base.

Letters embellished with a metallic gel pen.

Size: 5" x 5"

Another done with scrapbook paper, then adhered to a white card base sponged with some Distress "Fossilized Amber". Lettering embellished with the Quickie glue pen and gold glitter.
